We're into September this week and you can tell here at the farm. Here are the beef cattle by the chickens, a squash field and Robert feeding the chickens in the chicken tractor.
Temporary TapRoot Farms Egg Shortage - Week 5
We are sorry to say that we still have a temporary egg shortage. We are reducing your egg shares until we have more eggs.
The new hens have just starting laying this week. We will make up the missing eggs to you one they up their production, should be soon!

Organic grape tomatoes packaged and ready to be shipped to Sobeys!, tomatoes are also headed your way next week in your shares. Hay getting put away for the animals bedding this winter.
Canning Workshop Series with Patricia
September 5, 1-4 pm
Join us to learn and preserve. Patricia has enjoyed preserving vegetables and fruit for years. She learned from her grandmother and her mother the process of putting food away for enjoyment later in the winter.
These workshop are for beginners or those interested in canning with a group of others. Our time together will include prepping the fruit/veg, filling jars, processing, cleanup and conversation. You will go home with a share of the canning session.
The workshops will host up to 15 people and the cost is $50.00 per person.
