Deliveries

Posted on by Patricia Bishop

Seaport is closed!!!!! Alert to CSA members. We will deliver your share on Thursday so sorry!!!!! Or they will be on the truck if you can get to Oxford Edgewood between 4:30-5:30.

Deliveries today:
YWCA - Jem will be there at 3 for 15 minutes. Then he will take the shares inside.

Hawthorne - Jem will be there around 4

St.marks - jill will be there inside the church at around 3:15-3:30-6 please do NOT bring your boxes this week as we do not have a van coming to collect.

Oxford Edgewood and Brunswick St - we appreciate your patience as it may take a few more minutes for Ed to get there today. He is dropping the St Marks shares off first so we hope we have built in enough time.

Everywhere else should be routine.

Thanks!!!

Blizzard Plan

Posted on by Patricia Bishop

Good Morning CSA members at Hawthorne, St. Marks and YWCA:

We've decided to pay attention in advance to the weather warnings. We are building your shares this morning but we are not going to deliver until tomorrow.

On Monday's we have two van and three locations. We are going to need to do it with one van tomorrow because the other van will be doing regularly scheduled Tuesday deliveries.

SO....please take note:

YWCA 3PM-3:15 for van pickup, then they will be placed at YWCA for pickup until 4:45. IF YWCA is closed tomorrow we will sort out another day this week for this delivery

St. Marks 4PM-6PM from inside the church - the van will need to go to Hawthorne St. Jill or another member of the TapRoot team will be there to greet you.

Hawthorne Street - NOTE TIME CHANGE: 4:30-6 PM (we need enough time to unload at St. Marks and drive to Hawthorne, sorry for inconvenience)

The delivery van will be solid white van - not the TapRoot van you are use to seeing at Hawthorne.

I sure hope this storm is cleared up by then. If not we will sort out another plan of action.

Have a lovely day ~ with plans changing and all ~ Enjoy!

Patricia

Payment Options ~ 2016

Posted on by Patricia Bishop

All accounts will have one annual invoice. There is one annual cost for your CSA share. It is based on an assumed or approximate weekly amount, but the price is an annual price - one invoice.

You are invited to pay this invoice in full with money order, email transfer, cash or cheque prior to the start of the season on April 4th 2016. With costs on the farm at their highest in the spring and summer, our hope and preference is that you will pay for your CSA membership as soon as possible.

Payments can be emailed to info@taprootfarms.ca or mailed to:

TapRoot Farms
1736 Church St.
Port Williams, NS
B0P 1T0

If paying in full does not work for you, you are welcome to pay in monthly installments. To pay monthly, simply divide your total amount owing by 9 (9 months of shares, 9 payments). Please let our bookkeeper know that you will be making monthly payments so she can make a note on your account.
