Like a cottage or cabin rental a farm stay is a wonderful getaway from urban living.

We have two options at TapRoot Farms:

Swallow's Nest ...a fully-equipped vacation house with room for the whole family.

Walden Camp ...a rustic cabin, where you'll feel at one with mother nature and the farm.

  • We are just over one hour from the Halifax Regional Municipality and/or Halifax's International Airport.  
  • A scenic 10-minute drive from Wolfville, home of Acadia University.
  • Our rural community of Starrs Point, Kings County, is also home to Canada’s first experimental farm, dyke lands, and Foxhill Cheese House.  The history and future of Canada's farms is immediately evident in our neighbourhood.
